Jim Blurton Crosspein Hammer
 
This Jim Blurton Crosspein hammer is made of EN24 tool steel hardened and tempered to maximum 58 Rockwell, and weighs 1kg.
 
An extremely well balanced hammer designed for drawing clips, it has an 18” handle made from high quality hickory and is grooved for grip. Extra security has been applied to the fitting of the handle via the use of a brass rivet through the centre of the eye.
 
Any burrs that may occur on the head should be regularly ground back for optimum usage.
Available as part of the Jim Blurton Professional Farrier Tool range, the hammer design was developed and tested at Jim’s forge in Mid Wales, and is available worldwide online.
