A well balanced turning hammer ideally suited for forging and fitting of shoes, the Jim Blurton rounding hammer is designed to withstand the rigorous daily use by the professional farrier.
 
The hammer features an 18″ handle made from high quality hickory that is grooved for grip. Extra security has been applied to the fitting of the handle via the use of a brass rivet through the centre of the eye. This hammer is made of hardened tool steel.
 
Available as part of the Jim Blurton Professional Farrier Tool range, the hammer design was developed and tested at Jim’s forge in Mid Wales, and is available worldwide online.
